Start new emails from Gmail — no dashboard

Replying is already easy: you hit Reply on the notification. But what if YOU need to start the conversation? Every inbox has a send address for that — write to it from your Gmail, and the mail reaches the customer from your business address.

Step by step

  1. Copy the inbox's send address: Panel → Inboxes → the “Send without the dashboard” line on the inbox card (looks like s.xxxx@allyourinboxes.com).
  2. In Gmail press Compose. Paste that s. address into the To field.
  3. In the Subject line, write the subject your customer will see (e.g. About your invoice).
  4. On the FIRST line of the message, write the recipient: to: customer@example.com — then start your actual message on the next line.
  5. Send. The mail reaches the customer from info@yourdomain.com, and you get a “sent” receipt.

Tip: save it as a contact

  1. Save the s. address in your Gmail contacts as e.g. “Send as Acme” — next time just type “Acme” in the To field.
  2. Every inbox has its own s. address: whichever one you write to, the mail goes out under that inbox's identity.

Security and limits

  1. Only mail coming from YOUR notification address that passes authentication (SPF/DKIM) is processed — someone who learns the address can't use it.
  2. There's a 100/day sending limit (abuse protection).
  3. If the first line has no to:, nothing is sent and you get a notice explaining why — no silent drops.

You can do the same from the panel too: Inboxes → the “New email” button on the inbox card.
